Rippey Methodist Church: Pastor Paul and Nancy Burrrow are back from their Hawaiian vacation. Thanks to Dick Bardole, Dale Hanaman and Schyler Bardole for filling in on the Sundays he was gone.
February birthdays: Gary Weaver, Lauryn Basye, and Ada Weaver all have birthdays in February. They celebrated at King’s Point Landing in Storm Lake on Friday evening, Feb. 23. They had an evening meal at the hotel, opened their birthday gifts, and then went swimming until 9 pm. They were joined by Mary Weaver, David and Emily Weaver, all of Rippey, and Theresa Weaver-Basye, and Nathan of Sioux City. Matt Weaver was unable to attend due to illness.
Lauryn shared her birthday treats of narwhal cake pops with all present during a swimming break. The celebrated guests had theirs with candles that were blown out after the traditional singing of “Happy Birthday”.
